What free games are on the Epic Games Store right now?Since it launched in late 2018, the Epic Games Store has become known for giving away one or more of its games each week for free. Not just to play, but to own. Forever.
We think that’s something quite special, and worth celebrating. It’s also well worth you logging into your Epic account every week or so and adding the new week’s free game into your library even if it’s not the kind of game you feel like playing. After all, you might change your mind, and it costs you nothing to pick it up and own it forever.

Turmoil(free until January 16)
Turmoilis a tongue-in-cheek simulation game set during the 19th century oil rush in North America. Players have to take their budding oil barron from rags to riches, as they strike shady deals and beat rivals to build their lucrative oil empire. Escape Academy(free from January 16)
Escape Academyis a first-person puzzle game where you’re enrolled at a school that trains students to be the very best escapists around. To graduate, you’ll have to get out of 10 escape rooms that become increasingly more difficult to solve. When you’re not trying to solve puzzles, you’ll be able to explore the Escape Academy, with the story told in visual novel-style sections that feature eye-catching character portraits that look hand-drawn.
